Thumbs up Race to 1000 Posts (y)

there are few members here who are working very hard and they are getting close to 1000 posts.

Lets have a pole to see who will get there first. Please don't try to post bogus answer just to get in the race.

LooseChippings
The Tool
ESALADUANE
beeboy
Grendel

cheers

Is there a prize for the winner? A nice, new 19" LCD would be dandy.

should there be a word minimum and usefulness rating for the competitors - we don't want to encourage posting just for the heck of posting.

or do we????

Talking

I like it

It won't be me I don't understand half the questions / problems.

I only answer posts that I feel confident with. Most of the time I try to ask questions in order to get the poster thinking about the problem instead of just 'passing the buck'.

Mike

PS

I use a twin screen setup so 2 monitors would be nice.

This was added using edit so that no one can accuse me of making bogus postings

Personally I don't think anyone of top four will do that, there is no incentive to begin with (just the bragging rights kidding.... these four did not get there by posting useless information anyways.

cheers

P.S; I like "beeboy" idea of 19" LCD

Seriously. This kind of thread takes the fun away for me. I'm here because I have the time not because I want to make posts. I enjoy interacting with everyone here. I especially appreciate the efforts of Grendal, Curtybob, Esaladuane, Snowmonkey, and LooseChippings to name a few. You guys are real pros and I learn much from all of you. I cannot forget Tool, for without him the place would not exist.
Looking back through my posts, I realize that a small percentage of them were actually helpful. So with that in mind, I respectfully ask the Tool to reset my count to 50.

Here's a moderator using the name "Train" with almost 15,000 posts (and I don't think he cheated).

Registered: Apr 2000 though.

BTW, you can click "Search" (next to Buddy) to see real post count which can't be changed.

Displaying Topics 1 to 25 of 579

EDIT:
Hmm for Train: Displaying Topics 1 to 25 of 11857

Virtual Dr changed it's board a couple of years ago. Maybe the posts didn't carry over.

beeboy, I did not mean to offend any one, just wanted to make it more interesting that's all. Having some many post does not make a person pro but good answer DOES and you are pro even if the number says "50". (Tools, you can get off your high hours now,, just kidding). this is all for fun to take the edge off of our bad days.

As far as "Train" posts goes, hummmm, I have read few of them , it seem to me he /she is just having conversation on the bulletin board not real answers (that's what I understood), plus you have to have LOTS of free time in your hand to post over 14000 answer, maybe that is his /her full time job

Have a Great Weekend

cheers
