2,Am i supposed to have mplayer2 ? After trouble shooting my media player,i'm told to test with it, but the file can not be found.

Have you tried re-installing your operating system? Most likely it will solve your problem (Because you might have deleted some files unknowingly)

No i have not re-installed. It just came back a few weeks ago from the mfg. who re-installed.

Are you saying i should have the mplayer2 ??
