Windows Longhorn
This is my first post on this forum. My question to all of you is what you have heard about Microsoft's newest OS, and where is may be possible to get an alpha or beta version.
Here is a good link to keep you updated : http://www.winsupersite.com/faq/longhorn.asp
I like the 3D desktop, but I don't understand at all how their new WinFS file storage system will work. But I think this is all another attempt Microsoft is taking to rule the markets. By implementing Windows Media Player and Internet Explorer directly into the OS Kernel, they'll probably get into even more anti-trust suits. They're even modelling what future PC's will look like, probably another intention to even change BIOS routines to strangle out other competitors. But whatever trouble they'll get in, I'll still probably use Longhorn when it's released.

azn, it is not good pratice to post about illegal programs, or provide product keys in open forums. hacks cracks and warez are bad for buisness in a respectable forum. i know alot of programmers and how they feel when their work gets passed around the internet for free. for example, waresoft has tried to help you here, he has a program, would you pass it out like candy to all the little trick or treaters? i am not going to say i have never, well i have. i do try not to, i do have a problem with microsoft one license per copy crap which was a non-issue untill xp came out.

I know warez are illegal to post on forums. I used to be a member on hardforum for quite a while, and I messed up one night with a bad link. I am a student in the computer science studies however, and we all know how expensive life as a student is when you can't work full time jobs making $$$.
However, Longhorn is supposed to be a Desktop operating system. Therefore, it's target audience will likely be students especially - it's got that cool look and feel. These things do leak out alot, but I'm anticipating to play with this new OS. I'm just wondering whether anyone has yet.
