Hosting

I know I've posted something like this before, but I just bought a domain name, and I really really need a host with a DNS server to host me. If anyone can offer one, I'll be very grateful , thanks in advance.

they have a free hosting forum and a regular web hosting forum, post everything you want or plan to do and they should be able to give you many good choices, and a little feedback about them.

Excellent mate. [thumbsup]

There is nothing better than having your own site

Not sure if you have tried Dreamweaver or Frontpage they are both cool for building websites..I am in the process of building my website, for now my freind uses my bandwidth for his sites downloads take a look http://www.dmckin.us/yabbse/index.php

And here is my website, bare in mind it is under construction so a message board was put up for now until i build the site how i like it. www.nwowatcher.com I do not bother with the message baord so it was put together just to mess about for now.

Keep on building your site, and keep me updated on how it goes. It will be good to see it progress with time. As you know no site is ever complete as we always want to make changes it is an ever ending project.

And here is a cool site for you to check out for scripts for your site.

http://www.hotscripts.com/

Again well done mate.

, I usually use MS Frontpage 2003 for my HTML stuff (Can't code worth a cent in pure html) then copy and paste whatever I need into the php editor. You've got a nice site up there, will join it tomorrow, getting late at night here . I've spent the last 2 days copying and pasting snippets of codes from menu's, apps, scripts etc, into my 'home-made' CMS, all the code and stuff will of course be listed on the credits page as the original owners. I was thinking of using PHPNuke, or something similiar, but having messed around with Nuke a few times, grew tired of it, and decided to try my own hand at PHP.

The hotscripts.com site is a good one, been getting the self dev php package for my computer from there :P.

How very true Look at a website in its infancy, then check it again in a few weeks or months, it will expand, and grow.
I'm looking forward to how your site developes.

Good luck with your site

Hey! You called me mate... I like that! I recall seeing your site before. There are alot of improvements. I like the up arrow button at the bottom of the page (saves the scrolling finger). You should use the song "War Pigs" as your theme song over there. http://www.geocities.com/tnangel236/warpigs.html Lately, it is my favorite song.

Hello mate if you are on about the site http://www.dmckin.us/yabbse/index.php That is my friends site mine is nwowatcher.
I like that song and is a great choice

As you can see both sites i linked to are politcal but with what is happening today it is the most important issue to mankind than any other.
I will not preach here what many should be told and do not know. Wrong place for that. The link on this post has many good free downloads that tell a scarey story..

Black Sabbath are cool they rock..

"OH YEAH!" as Ozzy would say in N.I.B. They're cool.

Actually, I was referring to your site. I will keep an eye on it and watch it grow.

Your friends site is good. I am interested and somewhat familiar, but I have alot to learn. There are many links to articles and opinions from around the world, which is something that I have been looking for.

This stuff makes my heart heavy, but it's something that cannot be ignored.

Thanks Mate!

Sorry for the long reply, mate . Been busy, there's nothing like a executive visit from the main headquarters to give you a hearty boot in the behind to get working.

Good thing its all over now, lol.

Just signed up for your forums, sorry bout that delay.
After being hosted by a friend of mine, a programmer with the company I work for, but I'm looking for another nameserver host because he's simply too busy, the mysql needs to be reset after every power surge and he's been to busy to do that as the result my forums have been down for the past 2 weeks.

Now I'm browsing through forums for a host again *grins*. Hopefully I hope I can find one, anyway, I'll keep you guys updated on the site. Take care
