help with drivers for smartcam 2.1

hello, i have a problem with my newly purchased webcam.

i have he installation disk, and it contains the drivers, but i cannot install them because my computer crashes. these are the files and stuff inside the folder DRIVERS on the disk


m6215 (folder)
>m6215\smartcam v.099.exe
setup.ini icon (notepad with a cog picture on it)
wizard.exe crashes my computer
BORLANDMM.dll (a driver? perhaps)
CC3250MT.dll (^^^^^^^^^^^)

i am going to copy the drivers manually,
BUT I NEED YOUR HELP TO TELL ME WHERE TO PUT THE DRIVERS AND WHAT TO DO NEXT

I have just read that the smartcam 2.1 requires Windows to have DirectX 8.1 or later to get the drivers to load.

If you are using Windows try updating your DirectX.

i have direct x 9 so there aint nothing wrong with that

Try making a temporary folder on your desktop e.g. camera.

Copy the install files into the folder from the CD.

Install from your desktop.

or

Go to the manufacturers website and download the latest drivers for install.

I need a smartcam 2.1 software CD for webcam driver's. Web camera is super trendycam M6522. I require this camera's driver.

Please give me.

Can someone help me with getting a driver for my webcam?....It's a viewcam model no:- m6215 I bought it from argos in 2003 & since got a new PC and I can't find my software disc to install it in my new PC....

I tried for ages to find a driver, really messing up my PC.

Then I found this, which I think worked: Try searching for it:

JA000020 na nov2003

I think you'll find it on the sweex website.
