Re: All-in-one printer drivers

I am having the same problem with my all-in-one. I even had hp send me a new disk. Tried the USB, the whole 9 yds. My computer still won't connect to it. Good Luck, wish I could have helped you with your prob. BTW... My husband, Flyfsh, tried it on his computer and it connected nicely. Sometimes I wish he would help me with my computer probs like he helps everyone else in this forum. lol Guess he thinks I'm just too stubborn to listen.

Have you looked up your printer on the HP site. http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Looku...x=0&submit.y=0
There may be some downloads available for you. When I had trouble re-installing my Lexmark all-in-one, I downloaded a patch, a cleaner and a driver from the Lexmark site, ran them and the printer connected.

Longleggedblonde, What's this?? Flyfsh isn't helping you with your printer problem? Have him read this.

( Flyfsh, tisk, tisk tiskkkkk!)

Re: Printer Driver

Hi Blitzey,
Thanx for the info. Yes, I tried the hp site. It was useless. Last time I had the same trouble it helped. This time I went to windows update and found that there was an updated driver from August 2004. I downloaded that and it cleared out the old junk from hp and worked perfectly.

As for Flyfsh, are you kidding....... lol.....Guess the honeymoon is over..... He'd rather post his replies than help me....

OOOHHHHHHHHHHHH, I just showed him my post. lol He said we were ganging up on him.... Girl Power RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS Tomorrow November 28th will be our 1st Anniversary!!!!!

HP printer problem

Found a similar problem and traced it to barren USB connection.

Then someone told me that there was a motherboard CD which needed to be installed, particularly for USB2 for activation.

Motherboard was Asus A7N8X
