Looking for ESS Allegro Stereo

Hello, I recently upgraded to XP and for some reason my left speaker is the only one that works. I remember having ess allegro stereo, but now all I have is ess allegro. I believe this is some kind of driver, but I'm not sure. When I go into certain properties and move some of the controls I will get a crackling sound, but nothing else.

I have tried Download.com to see if they have it, but no luck.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can fix this?

You really need to pull out the card to check for the model number, and then retry for drivers. Try Driverguide.com.
If it's "onboard sound you have then download and run this tool to find your system info (motherboard, video, etc.).

Aida Tool!
