Which drivers do you install after installing Windows OS

Hello Everyone,

I have formatted my hard drive and installed Windows xp.
So now I need to install the graphics driver, video driver sound driver and other things, which I don’t know anything about.
I understand that a driver must be installed before the device will work.

My problem is, I am worried incase I don’t have all the drivers and I end up doing something wrong.
Can anyone tell me, which drivers I need to install to get graphics and sounds and everything working again?
Do I need to load a chipset driver? What order do I install the drivers?

You will need to install the m/board drivers first then video and sound etc.

More detail about your system would enable use to point you to specific drivers, most will be available from the manufacturers website if you do not have disks.

Please supply more info on your pc.

hello people, i to have a ploblem after reformating my laptop.it is a toshiba a100 psaa8a.i managed to install most of the drivers except for the ethernet controller and the psi device .the driver named lan xp and lan xp 1 that i have opened has,nt got an installer file only a lot of files and an unistaller.just wondering should i have installed all my drivers in some order.i,m no computer wiz but i,m having a go thanks in advance.
