The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

Recently I reinstalled the OS. Now i'm unable to play sound. Error code 28. Please help. Thanks alot.

I just downloaded the drivers and then restarted, but my sound still isn't working. Any more suggestions?

Ignore the last post; my audio plugs are NOT on the I/O plate as I assumed they were. What should I do if they're in the expansion slot?

need to know the sound card installed Get Everest / copy and paste the Computer – Summary section. Leave out the Debug –PCI section.
