Dont bother answering to my post. Problem solved. And You participated in finding solution by posting all these answers in this topic, so thank You.
I did everything You told others with same problem to do. Ran Everest, did some google, downloaded and voila!

I hope Bookworm Sound Queen is still out there. Seems to have answers; I had my HP Pavilion a6300f PC cleaned of vista to xp ver 5.1 build 2600.xpsp.071130-1427; service pack3, v. 3264 c 2007 when i purchased unit. At that time my tech (who has moved away) could not find the sound driver for xp. I have intel Pentium Dual CPU, E2180 @ 2.oo GHz, 1.87 gb of ram; physical address extesion ser: CNX75102Q9, 500gb hard drive.
I'm totally new to this forum & am unfamiliar with what to do to get sound. I have been using turtle beach audio advantage micro usb2.0 external sound card, but would really like to be able to use my system sound if that is possible. Could anyone please help me out?

it has Realtek HD audio and needs the M$ UAA installed first

go here to HP http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/g...reg_R1002_USEN

install then Restart your comp

go to Realtek http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

Click I Accept – wait for site to reload – click Next

Download the (Executable) file – save to desktop – double click downloaded file and follow installation instructions.

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case

Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions
