CD/DVD Driver With error code. Please help :(

I have a problem with this TSST corp CD/DVDW TS-H652M ATA Device. It is my DVD/CD ROM Drive. It will not work. I have tried upgrading and deleting and reinstalling by going to activities and telling it to search and then it reinstalls it, but it wont work. I get (This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this stupid thing, and how I can fix it without having to spend a crapload of money or any money at all? I did several things and nothing seems to work. I work on the human body and can repair that, but I cannot repair computers without help! Someone, PLEASE help!!
