SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter

Where can I find a place to update my "SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter." I know very little about computers, but I want to make sure this adapter is up to date. I tried searching for updates using Windows by right clicking the name of the adapter and searching for updates, but nothing came up. My friends suggested that I try and update my SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter because I am having trouble playing World of Warcraft and other games. Anyway, if anyone knows a website where I can download an update for my SiS 900-Based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter, I'd be grateful.

I'm having the same problems. I can't even use my ethernet hook-up to access my DSL. I have to use USB. I went to the www.sis.com site but couldn't find any information about the SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter. Are there any other options available?

look here under Top Downloads and latest Drivers, take notice of the caution,
http://www.sis.com/download/agreement.php?id=153181
Try to check your motherboard maker
Hope this helps.

I'm sitting at my brother's comp with an SiS 900 Fast Ethernet Adapter. Ever since I upgraded the system and used the onboard LAN connection for his DSL net, web page loading has been slow to respond. Once the it gets going it's fast, but initially there's a 10 second or so wait before the page loads.

I'm not too experience troubleshooting broadband net connections or networking so I'm running out of ideas for settings, etc.

Can someone possibly give me some ideas/solutions?

Cheers! Have a great Xmas and New Year
