ksuserdll not found

I have a Compaq 6415cl. After running a complete system recovery I have no audio. The original drivers are missing, saying I need file ksuserdll on windowsxp disk I don't have.I tried installing a new sound card since the original audio is on the motherboard but the new one doesn't work either.Compaq support is no help either.There was a driver update but no driver.Help!

Sound card for Compaq 6415cl is made by Realtek, It's mentioned here:

So why don't you go to the source (Realtek) and download the full version of the driver from there !?!

I hope the fix from Snowmonkey works for you. I had Realtek onboard sound before and had problems too. The new drivers work fine. I didn't find your dll "ksuserdll" on dll sites. I just checked two. If Snowmonkey's suggestion doesn't work, do a search on "dll" or "missing dll" and search futher......Good luck
