PCI modem and Video Controller problems

I reformatted my computer yesterday and I go to device manager .....
My device manager gives me two yellow !s next to two devices you , which also won't work since the reformat). They are: PCI modem and Video Controller (VGA compatible).It make me feel so bad

Your report shows it's a V2000 but I did a search on http://www.compaq.com and it showed loads of Compaqs for V2000.

Can you reply with the exact model and series of your laptop? It should show you this under the base unit.
