Desperately Need Help with Monitor driver installation

Hi, I am having trouble figuring out as to how to install the video drivers of my LG T710BH monitor.I do have the appropriate drivers in cd and here are what the instructions say:

1. Click Start -> Setting -> Control Panel
2. Double -click the Display icon.
3. Click the Setting tab, then click Advanced...
4. Select Monitor tab, Click properties->
click Driver Tab -> Click Update Driver Tab
5. Hardware Update Wizard -> Select Install From A List or Specific Location[Advanced]
-> Click Next
6. Select Include this Location in the search -> Click Browse
-> Select the Driver in the CD ROM -> Click Next
7. The Monitor Files are copied to the Hard Drive
8. Click Finish -> Close

At the 4th step, the 'properties' button is disabled. I had this figured out the last time I reformatted my PC, but I can't seem to recollect how I did it the last time. I think its connected to my adapter. Under the adapter tab, the chip type,DAC type etc. is all given to be 'unavailable'. If you could help me figure this out, it would be awesome. Thnx in advance!

Hi,

If you have never had problems without the divers installed then I would just not bother with them and save your self the hassle. Anyway, I would have thought you can install the drivers from the CD without going through the Wizard, if its an .ini file then just right click it and select "Install".
