where can I download drivers for this hardware?

lite-on dvdrw sohw-1633s

win xp sees it as a standard cd-rom drive, and now I can't burn discs.

I tried updating the firmware already, but this didn' help at all.

pls help, i need to be able to back up my stuff.

by the way,

i had already gone to liteon's website, but they say to use microsoft's default driver 09/23/2004, but checking my hardware config, xp shows its using a 2001 driver... where do I find or download the correct driver?
