PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi, I need some serious help. I dont know what is the cause of my problem. Basically, at random, my screen just turns into colors with lots of diagonal lines or coloured boxes and pixels. Sometimes it reboots on its own and sometimes i have to do it. When windows loads, an error box sometimes comes up saying that the graphic card is causing for system instability.

Is it possible that i need to update my driver. I have tried but still no success.

It is not due to the graphic card because i got a new one, however still got the problem. I also put my old card on another PC and it works fine.

Can someone please help me out.

I would greatly appreciate it.

It sounds like you may have got a bad card, that is definately a hardware issue, drivers wont fix it.

Do you have another computer to try the new card in?

Can you give me some pc specs please........

M/board, graphics card, processor etc

i dont think so. i had a MSI MS-StarForce GeForce4 Ti4200 with 8x. I put it on another PC and it works perfectly well.

512MB RAM
MS StarForce GeForce FX5700LE 256MB
