EiSystem Drivers.

Does anyone know where I can obtain drivers for an EiSystem 4413 laptop.

The machine belongs to my son and the driver disk cannot be found.

Any help is much appreciated.

From what I have been able to find out, the machines are made by Dixons, I'd give them a call as I'm not sure about IT support.

Hope this helps

Plus, a lot of drivers are already on the system.

Find them at.

My Computer - Local disk (C)
Find Applications.

And find the drivers you want to reinstall.

If you can't follow the above info, click ont he recovery screen its got pictures and tells you what to click on.

Original Drivers on CD

Hello,

I manage find some drivers on this URL

http://www.pcservicecall.co.uk/layout.aspx?ID={bdb76ba4-d9ac-4db5-9d46-baf20b3e6f69}&CatID={940147f8-77f8-41ed-ba85-6facf527d7b0}

This is only graphics driver. But sound drivers, I tried for days and no luck. I downloaded lots of them. They are VIA AC97 PCI audio (WDM). Legacy drivers or RealTek. This is onboard sound chip.

But I can blame only myself as I installed new version of Windows XP without backing drivers. I wondering if any of you have. Sound Drivers on original disk that you could send by email. My email is blazevic@blueyonder.co.uk

I hope you can help me.

Have you checked to see if the Audio is "Enabled" in BIOS?

eiSystem

Hello,

I used F2 which takes you to the BIOS but there is no option to unable sound on the laptop. I checked every single entry 5-6 times. I do not know how else I could unable sound if I cannot unable it in BIOS Setting. Strange but true. Most probably this is the problem as I downloand around 12 different sound drivers for the eiSytem laptop and of course non eof them would work until sound is unabled.

Can I set some BIOS software that does unable option in the BIOS?

Thanks for helping. I'm calling from sunny Sweden.

Jozef

Try going back into the BIOS and look under Advanced...Integrated..enter....Ac'97 Audio ...see if it is on AUTO or Enabled or Disabled...if disabled change it to either auto or enable

I went to update drivers and It did updated not with same drivers as before but some compatiable drivers from Windows XP database. At least it works after having laptop almost 2 weeks without sound.

Thanks for your help.

See you later

The MID2020 appears to be the chassis number not the model, what model do you have.

Cheers

I have the same EI Systems Laptop & Problem

Hello

Ihave the same model and spec EI systems notebook and after formatting the HD and re installing windows xp I cannot load the AC97 driver.
I know this driver is correct as it is the one I used before however when I try to install it tells me the onboard sound is not enabled in BIOS.
My problem is the BIOS does not have an advanced option and nowhere in the tabs menus is any reference to enabling the sound.

I have checked and rechecked but there is definitely no option to be found

Any Ideas?

Hope you can help
