Hi my names jay

Im having problems with sound. Im running XP pro. Everytime I try to play a movie or music Im told there is no audio device. My computer is a NEC MT 400/1, it has a MS 6507 mother board intel 845GEV chipset, and with regards to audio controller it says Intel 82801DBM ICH4 , AC97 [B-0]. I ve been searching for help for two days now and am desperate. Please please help if you can. I dont know what other information to include for someone to help so just please ask.

Important read "Steps to install" you have to install the INF chipset driver first
Make a System Restore Point just in case.
