This is the link to your Intel D845WN board http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...4&submit=Go%21

you can get the onboard audio driver here

Hope this helps

I still could not get my speakers going. Instead only the microphone worked. So I installed an Xtreme Sound 5.1/16 Bit Sound Card. It asked that I uninstall in my BIOS (CMOS) application. However, I uninstalled in Windows, and then loaded the Xtreme Sound software. The speakers still do not work. Is it time to get rid of this system?

Take a look at this on the Intel BIOS http://support.intel.com/support/mot.../cs-020304.htm
click BIOS Setting Glossary - by Menu

from what I see, the audio is on the Advanced Menu / Peripheral Configuration in the list. For youe sound card to work you will have to set to disable. You can only use keyboard when in the BIOS so read the begining on howw to enter with F keys and how to save changes with F keys. Go carefully

Cheers

Get Belarc http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

copy and paste the report into the thread, not anything under Software License section, once the make and model or motherboard are know we can go from there

Hope this helps
