thank you

Thank you! You are absolutely amazing! It worked! Thank you so much. You must be on many people's Christmas/Easter list! We'll certainly be saying your name everytime we'll listen to music.

Very greatful,
Ioana
P.S. How did you know it was an ADI audio instead of an Intel from the Belarc output? Did XP see the audio as something else than what it was?

Toshiba Dynabook TX 2513CDSWV successfull loading of drivers

I want to thank you all for the tips. I have successfully loaded all the drivers for my Dynabook TX 2513.

The sound problem was the most difficult, but was simply fix by INF update from the Intel web site. No more MICROSOFT BUSDRIVER REQUIRED error or issues. one of those geek ephiphanies. duhh
Just download the CHiputil version 2.91 from the intel web site and it will provide you with the chipset information and the drivers available including AGP,video drivers, and LAN. The LAN the japanese driver site provides.
As for the WIFI d and LAN driver I downloaded from Dynabook japanese site
at
http://dynabook.com/assistpc/download/index_j.htm#TOP
As for the modem driver I downloaded from Toshiba Qoismo site, because you must choose what country you want loaded. I use the G10 model.
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.c...try=all&page=2
If you have any questions on how to load your system, just email me at
beargraduate@netzero.net
I'm just enjoying my suppose to be Japanese computer that is actually worth 1,000 dollars and I only paid 200 dollars for on e-bay just because of driver issues. I was just happy the BIOS was not in japanese, but I had a fix for that to.

Thanks

No the trick is to read the codes Belarc gives, IBM drivers can be at the IBM or Lenovo site, play with the codes it gives and you find your model and drivers.

Cheers

Hi barbara,
thanks for the link but the thing is that i've downloaded the audio drivers from the IBM site before too.but i keep getting the message "Driver not found!Reboot system and run setup again" message.I just cannot get windows to install the driver again.i was reading about this problem in some other forum, and some of them said that we should try installing the drivers via the "have disk" option during the "add new hardware" wizard.but the thing is that when i extract all the files from the file available at the ibm site,i get only one .inf file in the whole folder and when i point to that file in the have disk option,i don't get ANY list of manufacturers.i've read that this is what's happening with a lot of other ppl.any ideas??i'd love some help....
thanks anyway...
