Driver Problem
Hi Barbara,

I've just reloaded Windows XP, and have a problem with my sound driver. Was wondering if you could help, please?


Intel Celeron Processor

Main Circuit Board : IBM 225784A

Bus Clock : 100MHz

BIOS : IBM 21KT29AUS 11/04/2003

Chipset : Intel i810E Rev A3

SouthBridge : Intel 82801BA (ICH2)

LPCIO : Winbond W8367HF

Graphics Controller : 82810E Rev 3

these are the audio drivers for your model 2257-84A it's Soundmax, but the driver for the 2257 only lists up to Win 2K

Set a System Restore Point before installing any drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions
