The board is advertised with powerfull intergrated graphics. if no card in that slot, go to the ASUS link and install the VGA driver.

post the report MyComputer/Summary and the Motherboard section

Also check this out
Check Control Panel / Sound & Audio Devices / Properties / Audio Tab / Sound Playback click on down arrow and check that the correct audio device is selected; something like modem line 0 playback might have been substituted for the proper audio device. Information by Jim Pivonka.
