PCI Driver

When I startup Win'98se I now get a message telling me to install PCI card driver. I have not added anything so a file must of gotten corrupted I am guessing. WhenI go to System Properties/Device Manager it shows me no
errors or problems. Everythign seems to be their.

In the past PCI card I believe is for my modem. I do not use the modem since I have cable. I have tried going thru all my software reinstall disks and nothing
seems to want to help.

Is their a way to determine exactly what the PCI card is to address it better?
Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks!

Disconnect the PC from the mains, open the system-box and remove any redundant PCI cards (any with nothing connected to the backplate). A modem-card will obviously have a phone connection socket on it's backplate, so will be easy to identify in case youre worried you might not know what it's for. Hopefully that will be the cause of the error message so it should stop it happening in future.
