Unhappy Please help me, I'm so sickened by this!

Hi everyone,

I've just upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP Professional.
And suddenly there's no more sound coming out from my system though I was still able to listen to my music and stuff yesterday after the upgrade the day before yesterday.

It baffles me tremendously.
What can I do to restore the sound?

Please help me!
Thank you!

Below are some of the information of my laptop.

System Model
TOSHIBA Satellite 3000 PS300L-03YKL
System Serial Number: 71035419
Enclosure Type: Other

Operating System

Multimedia
82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio Controller

Main Circuit Board b
Board: Null 888M1
BIOS: TOSHIBA V1.90 07/14/01

First off, make sure your sound is not muted. Look for sound in the control panel. You can check sound hardware status and install drivers if you need to.

Can only link to here so do this
select GO . Downloads > Filter by Operating System - select Win XP > Filter by Category - select Sound > It's a Crystal Audio Driver.

Set a System Restore Point just in case

Hope this helps
