Hey guys, I'm having the same problem as everyone else. I reformated and now there's no sound. There is no audio mixers installed and I said no audio devices under the Audio & Sounds menu in Control Panel.

I've looked everywhere for drivers and no luck. Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much.

I am running on an Emachines T2742. Thanks again.

upon running the set up for the installation of that particlar driver an error message is recieved "sorry , the install wizard cannot find the specified hardware on your system. you should check your hardware and try again" i suppose this would mean a stop to your much appreicated help? i revisted the soltek site myself and was unable to gain access to the downloads page... i will keep revisting in the future thank you for your help if you can think of anything else and let me know it would be much appreciated! thank you in all of your efforts.

hey bookworm, i was using the sound in the expansion slot, but i'd used it there for a long time. i plugged in my moniter's speakers to the I/O slot and they work.

but i also have another set of speakers which i like to use... they wont work as there is no room for them on the I/O slot...
do you have any suggestions?

still, thank you very very much!!
