I left out the serial number... not sure if you needed it... I'm pretty sure all other info from belarc report is in my previous post. Thanks Again!

drivers here at HP http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s... duct=3190729

use Original Drivers - first install the Nvidia chipset driver - then RESTART your comp

2 graphics Ati and Nvidia, Belarc does not show because driver missing. An Everest will show whih graphics you have installed, install the programe or post if you want me to check
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownloa...oad-16369.html

the graphics driver is the next to install, then audio - followed by any others you need.

audio is High Definition and needs Microsoft Universal Audio architecture installed first for audio to work, it's here at HP http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...reg_R1002_USEN

may be a good idea to get all the Original drivers, and save on a disc

Set a System Restore Point before installing EACH driver just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions

Hello again! I went to the link you supplied and I wasn't sure on something... Should I download and install ALL the original drivers, or just a few? I already got and installed the Nvidia chipset driver and then I installed the microsoft audio driver from the other link. I also downloaded everest and I have a report for that too if it is needed, but since it's so long, I'm sure what all you actually need.

do you have sound ?

Everest should show which graphics you have, they can be Ati or Nvidia that is why you need Everest, it should show which graphics you have.

the computer summary of everest is what I need.

my suggestion of getting all the drivers is so that if you need them in the future they are available on a disc.

you have a sound card installed - this is the driver http://support.creative.com/Products...=Sound+Blaster

check to see if Soundblaster is set as default audio
Check Control Panel/ Sound & Audio Devices/ Audio tab/ Sound Playback click on down arrow and check that the correct audio is selected. Typically the problem will be they something like "modem line 0 playback" might have been substituted for the proper audio device

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions

I reinstalled the SB Audigy 2 zs driver from your link. The correct device is selected for sound playback and the sound card is enabled in device manager. Still no sound though.

can you check this

the board has onboard audio, have you tried the audio sockets on the I/O plate to see if they give sound
http://www.overclockeddoc.com/bookwo...0io%20slot.JPG

to use the sound card audio, you must plug into the audio sockets in an expansion slot

you need to check that audio is [Disable] in the BIOS, and this BIOS is tricky on these Asus boards, I have the Premium + Deluxe model.

as soon as comp boots press the <Del> key the Main menu opens
http://www.overclockeddoc.com/bookwo...UXE%20Main.JPG

use right arrow key to select Advanced menu
http://www.overclockeddoc.com/bookwo...20Advanced.JPG

down arrow to Onboard Device Configuration - press Enter key
http://www.overclockeddoc.com/bookwo...v%20Config.JPG
