Question Can someone please help me find the right driver..

Hey everyone! I've been having a lot of troubble with my sound lately, as I see many other people have, It seems to have stopped working afew weeks after reformatting. I looked through various threads on this site to see what the problem might be. I saw people where told to run Belarc so to save time i already have. The problem is my multimedia audio controller in device manager has a question and an exclamation mark over it. I don't know what do do or what do download or where to look to fix my sound so all help will be much appreciated! Thanks.

Here are all the drivers for your board, it is a Gigabyte GA-81848P 1x
http://www.gigabyte-usa.com/Motherbo...Rev%201.x).htm

Set a System Restore Point before installing each driver just in case

First download and install the Chipset driver and restart you comp

Second download and install the Audio driver

Hope this helps

Ok go here to Intel to get your chipset driver http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...4&submit=Go%21
it's No: 1 in the list
Then go here to Realtek to get the AC'97 driver select the Win XP version http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&Software=True

Same thing, install the chipset then restart your comp, then install the AC'97 driver.

Hope this helps
