To Mr. Bookworm: Sound Problem

Bookworm,

I have read the forums and you helped a lot of people when it comes on sound problem.

I formatted my PC and unfortunately, after doing so, theres no sound coming out of my speakers. I thought its a drver problem, because I tested the speakers and its fine.

I will give this information about my computer and I hope it helps you on helping me.

First off Bookworm is a Lady

Secondly all she does is go to the board manufacturers website and look for driver updates, you might like to try this?

It's AC97 sound, go to the site look for the driver for AC97 sound.

OH, sorry, i thought she's a man. woosh. My bad..

uhmm, a while ago, i downloaded Realtek AC97 sound, but no luck...

Since maybe you know my specifications already, amybe you could give me an exact URL where i could download the RIGHT driver, and if needed, tell me what should i do to overcome this issue im having...

hey guys, you know what, my sounds work!

i just install the AUD_ALLOS_5.10.0.5188_PV_REALTEK and it works...

to ms. bookworm and anzac, thanks anyways.

What happened when you tried to install, did it say it was a realtek audio when you opened the file.Is this the file you got from Toshiba site.
