Does it say that it is Disabled and you have to Enable, AC'97 is onboard audio you may have a sound card installed, are your radio jacks low down on the tower in an exspansion slot or are they near the keyboard and mouse jacks

Cheers

That means there is a sound card installed and we would need to know which one, check for any discs that could have the sound card drivers on. Otherwise it means opening the case to get the make of the sound card.

Cheers

So you have 2 sets of radio jacks, that being the case the onboard audio is disabled in order to use the sound card, that being the default device, there is a programe that should find the card http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...entifier.shtml

download and read what it says at the begining, it's pretty long.

cheers
