Question HELP!!! My "SanDisk: Cruzer Titanium USB Flash Drive" won't work!

I have a SanDisk: Cruzer Titanium USB Flash Drive, and it will not work in any computer. I've only had it for a week, and for the last 5 days it has worked fine with my Mac's. Now, for no apparent reason it won't work...and by work I mean I stick the thing into the USB port and nothing happens. It glows blues and flashes for a second then stops and the computer does not even realize it is connected to it.

I need this thing desperetly! It has a lot of files on it that are irriplaceable. Please help! Thank you.

Same problem

I am having the same issue with my sandisk 512MB Cruizer Micro. They have offered to RMA it for even exchange, but that leaves me without many valuable files. The unit worked great for a few weeks, then all of the sudden one day I plug it in, it flashes briefly and can not be detected.

I am running windows XP SP2. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like it could be a dud batch of Flash Drives, you could try a professional data recovery service if the files are that important but it will be expensive.

It's not the stick!

I have encountered this same issue with two seperate 2gb ti Cruzers...but only on one particular machine. It's a very old motherboard running XP, and this issue happens with both SP1 and SP2. Every other XP machine I plug this thing into for the first time deals with it successfully. I use the flash drive at work, and pass it around quite often...it's just this one damn machine.

I'm having the same problem. It's about the same story. I have a Cruzer Titanium 1GB, and it has been functioning fine for the last couple of weeks. Now all of the sudden it doesn't work at all. I've tried it on a number of different computers, and no luck. It says the device is unregonizable, or it does nothing.
