afraid it did not work

Hi thanks for the link, but afraid it did not work, came up with "install wizard cannot find supported hardware on your system"

If worst came to worst I suppose he could install a seperate soundcard, after disabling onboard sound?

Have you checked that the audio is [Enabled] in the BIOS
Try this driver from VIA http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx...SubCatID =104

Your audio plugs must be on the I/O plate for this driver to work, if you use an expansion slot then you have a Sound Card installed, see here, click the image to focus

PLZ HELP ME!!

Your audio driver Realtek is here at Packard Bell http://support.packardbell.com/uk/it...3310501&g=2000

download - save to desktop - double click downloaded file to install

Set a System Restore Point before installing driver just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

Have you bought this program or are you using the trial version, I'm not familiar with this, but it appears that the trial version dose not delete malware just quarantines them

ok get these programs and download to your PC they are all free and will keep you safe, if you have an antivirus program alredy instelled then don't install AVG7
AVG 7 antivirus program http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
Ad-Aware SE for spyware http://www.lavasoft.com/
Spybot search & Destroy for spyware http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
click Download link in left pane

install them and update immediately - run all the programs and clean off all they find. if System restore is turned on - then turn OFF before running them, they can't clean Restore Points.

Turn on your Windows Firewall
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / Security Center /
