Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions
|
When I run this install, I get "The audio driver files do not support your computer hardware..."
Any ideas?
My sound worked great until a few weeks ago when my computer crashed. I am in the process of rebuilding it and this is the only remaining item that doesn't work? I'm not sure why.

Install the chipset - then Restart your comp http://support.euro.dell.com/support...7&fileid=70069
then install audio again
Your audio plugs must be on the I/O plate for this driver to work, if you use an expansion slot then you have a Sound Card installed, see here, click the image to focus
