Sound card not working / speakers

just a while a go i decided to reformat my pc then after installing the needed cds i tried to play some of my mp3s then windows media player said it cannot play the mp3 file bec there is a problem with my sound device. i checked the device manager and my CMI8738/C3DX PCI audio device has a yellow mark and this:

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

the manufacturer is c-media and the location is PCI Slot 2 (PCI bus 2, device 10, function 0)

then i got belarc advisor cuz i saw from the other posts.
