Having trouble with sound driver

Quite recently i had my hard drive replaced due to my old one going crazy, and lost all of my info, i have a new hd now and have installed everything except for my sound driver, this is due to me losing my cd and i cannot remember what sound card i have or if it is inbuilt to the motherboard. if anyone can offer any suggestions as to how i can find out what sound driver i need to get my sound back up and running i will be very grateful.

many thanks in advance.

dont know if it will help but my speakers are creative 5.1 inspire p580

thanks again.

If you know the make and model of your comp, you will get the drivers from their site, if not get Belarc a free programe, it's usally possible to find the maker or motherboard and trace the drivers that way. http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
if you have any problems just copy and past Belarc report may be able to find drivers for you

Hope this helps
