unimodem half-duplex sound card problem

I recently reformated my computer and i have no sound. I'm guessing i need to update driver for my sound card. Running an unimodem half-duplex sound card. I've d/l ed Belarc Advis. and:

Well, other than what Belarc advisor gave me, i'm not sure . Only thing i can tell ya is:

Operating System:
Windows XP Professional (build 2600)

System Model :
MSI MS-6590 1.0


Other than that i'm not sure. My computer was built for me a while back by my uncle. Only thing i've ever added is a new video card and ram lol.

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case

Umm, the site u linked isnt working. Well the d/ls from that site are not working. I was able to google and find another site to d/l at but i saved file but i'm not entirely sure how to install it lol. N e help on that? THanks a million. I'm not TOO computer savvy, at least with this n e wayz lol. Thanks again.

What kind of file is it, a zip file or an exe, did you save the file on your computer. The download worked fine for me.
