Audio Device Problems

Hi im having trouble with my audio i have no sound except the beeping sounds coming from my computer in compensation for the lack of sound. I was wondering what sound device i was supposed to use. I remember using some soundmax program but for some reason i cant seem to find it anymore. Here is my specs:
