no sound with vista

just recently updated my computer to the windows vista, rc1 built 5600
and i seem to have no sound on my laptop now
its an acer laptop, aspire 5600, vista compatible and i just cant seem to find anything wrong in settings evrything appears to be ok?
anyone suggest what it could possibly be?

In Device Manager is everything showing OK?

Uninstall the drivers - Restart, it should reinstall them.

If not, do a search on the sound card and reinstall.

Or reply with some more info about your laptop.

if you check the Vista Express Upgrade they do say that you may need to upgrade the BIOS and some drivers, best to get advice from them, as I don't think these will be Vista drivers. The only thing I can suggest is to update the Chipset driver
