No sound after installing ATI Radeon drivers

I've just swapped my GF4 for an ATI Radeon 7000. After installing the latest drivers from the ATI website I've been having problems with sound. When Windows (XP Pro) boots I get the Windows startup sound, when it closes I get the shutdown sound. At any other time I get no sound.

My first thought was that something with the ATI drivers had mucked around with my audio drivers. I'm running the KX Project drivers on a Soundblaster digital card. I've tried reinstalling the drivers but this had no effect.

Any help would be really appreciated!
