My sound doesnt work

My sound doesnt work

I just reformated windows Xp pro, and it doesnt work, it says in device manager a yellow question mark on multimedia audio device. How can i fix this please?

We need more info to help, make and model of comp, or get Belarc http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
