sound card driver

my sound isnt working and i want to download drivers for it but i dont how to find out the type of sound card drivers i need and i dont want to open up my tower. please help, thankyou for your time

We need to know either the make and model of your PC, or the make/model of your motherboard (assuming your PC uses on-board sound and NOT a separate sound-card which was added since the PC was new).

You can install PC Wizard. Run it and post it's hardware list.
