Sony Vaio Bad Audio Drivers?

Alright so i recently did a install of a new hard drive into a older sony vaio. I had no issues with it till now. Its pretty simple but i just dont understand where im going wrong. The audio drivers dont seem to be installing anything and i dont know why. Im using the correct audio drivers from the sony website.

Heres what i did after boot up.

1) Launch application for the audio drivers.
2) Application notifys me that it needs to reboot and make sure that i have the correct model number.
3) After reboot application proceeds as normal.
4) Application completes and prompts me to restart for everything to take effect (As Normal).
5) After Reboot nothing has been installed.

I already sent information to sony about this. To my surprise they sent me a message stating that since i changed the hard drive that they wont help me at all. I have asked them for a zip file with the drivers and i highly doubt they even care.

The model number for the system is the PCV-RX753. Its a sony desktop and im just so lost on why it wont install. The worst part is i dont even know what kind of sound card it is or else i could probably find some kind of compatible drivers on the net. If anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them. Thanks

With an install of Sony drivers the Sony Shared Library has the INF files, install this then the audio driver again http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu...eType=Original

SET A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT BEFORE INSTALLING JUST IN CASE

Hope this helps

Yes, that did allow the audio drivers to install correctly.
