Arima M621-DC

Hello,
I have a notebook with Arima M621-DC motherboard and a Intel i855PM chipset. The problem is I cannot find any support for this motherboard on the net. Their homepage www.arima.com.tw does list this notebook but still no support or drivers.
Main problem is that I have no sound. Bios doesn't have any settings concerning audio.
PC Wizard says the following about audio:

Device Audio : 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controller

When I click on it to get some more info it says that it's a Analog Devices
Model : AD1981B. SoundMax as I suppose.
I've tried downloading all drivers I could find, for Dell for HP, just drivers that say AD1981. And had no result.
I figure it might somehow be connected with my chipset drivers, but once again I can't find the updated drivers that would work with the Arima Computer. Tried DriverGuide.com too, no luck there.
Please help in any way you can, I would really appreciate it.
I can supply with any info or specs about my notebook.
And yes the sound stopped working when I formatted the drive, before that it was in the same state, as it was in the shop where I bought it. Have absolutely no cds, and no guarantee with the shop and even no chance to go back to it.
Please any help is welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I will add a bit to my own thread,

Right now I have downloaded SoundMax driver and set it up on the system, Windows said ok, like it's the right driver. But still no sound.
In the device manager I can see no marks on the hardware, it's all working properly according to the properties bar.
Yesterday I have even took a notebook apart to see if anything is wrong or damaged physically, but no everything is in order.
I even tried running Linux, I've chosen knoppix live cd, and still nothing, no sound.
Sorry, I guess I'm just trying to give you guys just as much info as I can.

Earlier when I tried to install realtek drivers, WDM A397 windows installed them as well but in the end the blue screen of death came up for a second and rebooted the laptop. It came up for such a small period of time, that I could read trough what was causing the computer to stop responding. May be it's because realtek drivers just will not work on my laptop or maybe something else, like wrong chipset drivers or something like that.

And as I said before any reply is welcomed.
Thanks.

I have visited this page: http://www.overclockeddoc.com/
Turned to them with the same problem, still no reply.
But I found the link to Everest Home Edition,
somewhat close to what I used (PC Wizard), but Everest gave interesting info about my chipset
South Bridge: Intel 82801DBM ICH4-M

Field Value
South Bridge Properties
South Bridge Intel 82801DBM ICH4-M
Revision / Stepping 83 / B1
Package Type 421 Pin BGA
Package Size 3.1 cm x 3.1 cm
Core Voltage 1.5 V

AC'97 Audio Controller
Audio Controller Type Intel 82801DB(M) ICH4
Codec Name Analog Devices AD1981B
Codec ID 41445374h

But this is the one that I have at the moment. SoundMax Analog Devices Ad1981B. And still silence for me!!!

I am even more concerned about the other thing, PC Wizard and Everest tell the same thing, that my motherboard has this On-board device:ADI1886 (In the description it says sound, so it's supposed to be connected to the problem someway too.)

On-Board Device Properties
Description ADI1886
Type Sound

The only driver I could find which would have this ADI1886, was VIA AC'97 WDM Audio Controller. It installed without the problems, it is at the moment in the same tab with the SoundMax driver, but the VIA driver says that it's enabled but not started!!! Code error 10.
I googled the problem and found that in some way it can be connected with the Plug and Play Software device Enumerator. I even tried reinstalling it, and even modifying the machine.inf file, but still no luck.

Maaan I'm killing myself with this thing!!! As you can, I'm not dealing with this problem for like 5 minutes, more like 5 days or so. Please, please any help would be a life saver!

You are not the only one with this problem, and I do this in my own time, patience is a virtue.
