please help i screwed up
well A. i bought a laptop from ibuypower. here are all the specs following what i have to say.
basically im trying to update my drivers, but im having problems finding my sound driver, and so i downloaded everest home, so i could find some more info about the comp....no motherboard NAME and a search didn't come up with much.
so im trying to update my motherboard and my sound drivers. any help?

i was under the impression that it was a 2.0ghz....intel. am i just reading that wrong?)

the computer was assembled and sold to me by IBUYPOWER
and i belive the Shell is from this company called uniwill.com
lemme know if that helps
but one of my major concerns is that its running at .6GHZ vs the 2.0 is should be....
(according to the steam performance warning) which seems to be true. according to that test you sent me too.
how can i fix this?

all your drivers are listed. Install the chipset driver and Restart the comp, see if it reads correctley then,
as to the other problem, that is outside my knowledge, but ask these guys, they build comps http://www.overclockeddoc.com/
SET A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT BEFORE INSTALLING JUST IN CASE

Unless the system is not working at all, I'd leave the Bios, it can lead to more problems. The chipset should helps, but as I said have a word on the forum I linked you to. Had a similar problem with n AMD and a techi fixed it for me.
