need help with graphics card issues

I just bought a toshiba satellite (model A135-S4517) running vista, and would like to play world of warcraft on it, but I'm having a problem with playing it. When I play it will kind of crash and then continue. (screen goes black and game stalls then comes back on). Then when I exit the game there's a ! error msg down on my taskbar that says "display driver igfx has stopped responding and recovered." Now I can't tell if my graphics card is the problem or drivers and I can't even find anywhere that tells me what type or if any better graphics cards are out there for this damn thing. The only thing that I can find out on what I have is this: Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset family. Minimum Graphics memory 8MB, Maximum 224MB. I've got a intel centrino duo processor, 1GB Ram.
I'm very frustrated, PLEASE HELP!

This appears to be the latest Vista driver for your chipset. http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...submit =Go%21

I would suggest that Laptops are not games machines and Vista is not a games Operating System. You also didn't mention what version of Vista you are running.

i am having a similar problem with my graphics card. i am using a dell latitude c800 notebook with these specs.

128 mb ram
30 gb hard drive
847 mhz processor
and the above mentioned ati mobility 128 agp 4x graphics card.

the game i like to play is conquer online 2.0 and i have the minimum requirements. the error i recieve is right after my character is visable the game freezes and then i get this error: atidvai display driver has stopped responding normally. then i have no choice but to restart my pc. there has to be a way to fix this problem without buying a new card because i can't afford it. muchless have it installed because i'm not doing it myself or my pc with never work again.
