Help with sound please please please !!

My system at the minute comprises of :-Operating System System Model
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600) Enclosure Type: Desktop
Processor a Main Circuit Board b
1.65 gigahertz AMD Athlon XP
32 kilobyte primary memory cache
256 kilobyte secondary memory cache Board: First International Computer, Inc. AD11 PCB 1.X
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz

If your audio plugs are at the top of the tower, near mouse keyboard sockets then you have Realtek AC'97

Go here http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

download the (Executable file) save to desktop, double click to install

SET A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT BEFORE INSTALLING JUST IN CASE

My plugs are toward the bottom of my tower - I did try the realtek drivers on the off chance but no joy still no sound.

I got tired of no sound so i took the back off looking inside and found the card and yey I have sound !!
