Audio driver help

Well I been looking around this forum for a while trying to find out how to restore my sound driver because I recently formatted my computer and i cant seem to find the right driver for my soundcard. I installed realtek AC97 audio drivers because Everest told me thats what i needed but nothing seems to work. I'd really really appreciate it if someone could let me know what driver I specifically need.

Please Help ME.
The cd Which I got With the mobo has realtek high defination audio.
There is a problem with one of its system file:RTKVAC.SYS

So, I have no sound.
However,My HDD with Ubuntu Has Sound.

The mobo i ve is some cheap one.
not recognised by any software.
All i know n whats written on it is ZX-865GV
thats all..

thE moBo cD i gt with it gives a missing RTKVAC.sys file,which is in the VISTA folder.
When i install it,
it gives me a BSoD
plz ...get ma sound back..!!

are you sure you have Realtek HD audio, from what I can find the board has Realtek AC'97 - the driver is here
