Hi, I'm kinda new here so I hope you'll understand.

I have reformatted my new PC and installed windows xp2 because of outnumbered Trojan virus that it has. After it, my music would no longer play due to its 'multimedia audio controller'. it has a yellow question mark on it. i could not find it in driver-download.com since the comoputer itself cold not distinguish the manufacturer. i've tried downloading lots of audio drivers and controller but to no avail. i've been searching high and low and ended up awake up to 3am but to no avail. could somebody please help me out of this? i don't know how this works. so if you don't mind, kindly send your reply at spittlei@yahoo.com. i beg help. please. i don't have any installers when i bought my pc. please.

if you know your motherboard....just go to their site and search their sound drivers for the download....

if you dont know your motherboard....first go to
http://www.cpuid.org/pcwizard

this will give a full specifications sheet.....find the BIOS ID.....

then go to http://www.motherboards.org/moboidtools.html

this will help you id your motherboard.....

then just google the name and go to their site and find your sound driver....
