DVD & CD/RW Drivers Needed ASAP!!!!!

NEC DV-5800A DVD-ROM

NEC NR-7800A CD/RW

you are using XP they do not need or have drivers thew cd/rw and cd rom should be plug and play.

unless it is a firmware update that si needed, what is the problem you are having??

i really need the NEC DV-5800A and NEC NR-7800A drivers becuase mine got corrupted or deleted or something and i cant find any anywhere and i cant use them and they dont show up in my computer. please anyone send me some....

Before you start dowloading drivers, go into Device Manager and 'revert drivers'.

if his revert(roll back) does not work, go to the device manager, expand the dvd/cd-rom drives and right click and remove the drives, reboot and the driver will reinstall.
(edit) if the drives have not worked since xp was installed, check the jumper settings, if they are both on the same ide cable set them as master and slave cable select may or may not work.
