No sound after setting up XP

Hi, i have just re-installed windows xp professional and i have no sound, i assume there is something wrong with the drivers? I have included, hopefully, all necessary information below. All help is much appreciated!

Sound problem !

Hi, i have just re-installed windows xp professional and i have no sound, i assume there is something wrong with the drivers? But when i restart the pc the sound works almost 15 minutes and then suddently stops...please give me a hand too resolve this problem... thanks in advance !... Still notgiveing the motherboard, but go here to SiS it will tell you what SiS drivers are needed and a link to install, if it is the SiS audio you can get the driver here, accept the active x control, it's safe http://www.sis.com/support/support_prodid.htm

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case
